Buffalo Stadium Rules

Failure to comply with these rules could result in
your removal from the stadium.

*Current Giddings ISD policies and UIL rules will be enforced at all times.  State laws and school policies will be in effect concerning alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, weapons and distribution of any type of literature.

*Items such as confetti, skateboards, scooters, Frisbees, rollerblades, and bicycles are not permitted in the stadium.  The District also has the right to prohibit any other object being brought into the stadium if it is considered a safety risk.  Air horns or compressed air devices are prohibited. Releasing balloons is prohibited at UIL athletic events held outdoors.

*Signs are permitted only on the fence in front of the home or visitor stands.  Signs in poor taste shall be removed.  Flags on poles or signs larger than a hand-towel are not allowed in the bleachers.

*Outside food, drinks and coolers shall not be brought into the stadium.  Performing groups may bring drinks into their specific area. Glass bottles are prohibited.

* Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

*The use of tobacco and alcohol products is prohibited inside the stadium and on all school property.

*Gum, carbonated beverages, and seeds of any type (sunflower, etc.) are not allowed to be brought inside the fenced track area or field.

*Pointed objects or objects with sharp and uneven edges are not allowed to be brought inside the fenced track area or field.  This included any props used by the cheerleaders, band or drill team. The sidelines must be kept free of any equipment that might injure an athlete.

*Spectators may not be allowed on the field before or after the game.  Only students of school organinzed and approved activities will be allowed on the fiield. Other groups allowed are at the discretion of campus and District personnel. 
 
*Anyone on the sideline or end zone not in uniform must have District approval to stand, photograph, or film.

*Due to security concerns, backpacks and handbags my be searched.

*Only emergency vehicles or District approved vehicles may be parked inside the stadium.  No vehicle will be allowed to drive on the track or stadium surface (unless approved by District personnel).

*The only groups that are permitted to sell products in the stadium are school booster clubs or organizations approved by the District Office.  (Permission needs to be secured in advance.)

*The stadium will open 1 1/2 hours before game time.

*Any organizations, clubs, or local groups seeking to use the District stadium facilities (track and/or field), should request in writing permission from the District Office.  Requests should be made at least two weeks in advance of the event.
