On November 11, 2009, Trey Masek officially signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball for Texas Tech University. This past summer Trey led the buffaloes to the 2009 State Final at Disch Faulk Field in Austin, earning the honors of All-Tourney Team Pitcher at the State Tournament. Additional accomplishments include 1st Team Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Pitcher and Texas Sportswriter Association and 1st Team Pitcher and 2nd Team Designated Hitter. The Austin American-Statesman named him as one of the Top 50 Athletes in Central Texas for 2009 (voted by fans as #2). He is a member of the Houston Heat baseball organization.
Jordan and Trey's parents are Andrew and Patricia Masek of Giddings.

Ty's parents are Paige and Mike Marlow of Giddings.
Three Giddings Football Players Verbally Committ
Three Giddings Players have verbally committed to playing football beyond high school. They are:
Marcellus Mack -- UTSA in San Antonio
Corey Brite -- UTSA in San Antonio
Cameron Williams -- Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
